Welcome to the Hamlet Swim Club web site.  Our club is a community swimming pool and tennis facility located in the McLean Hamlet neighborhood.

Tennis Courts are open.

The pool is open everyday from 11 am to 9 pm thru Sunday.
Labor Day hours are 11 to 7 pm.
Pool is closed Tuesday thru Friday (7th to 10th)
Last weekend for the pool is Sat and Sun (11th & 12th) from 11 to 7 pm.
Dog Swim on Sunday the 12th from 6:30 to 7 pm.

Bath house renovation Update 8/7/10

We have received the permit from VDOT that allows us to install a new water line to the pool which will eventually allow us to open the second floor.  However, we have decided that the disruption to the pool due to the road construction is not warranted given that the second floor would only be open for a few days at the end of the season.  So further construction has been put on hold until after the pool closes.

It is obvious that the level floors in the shower rooms are causing excessive standing water and that they must be reconfigured.  This will happen in the off-season too.

The Hamlet Swim Club offers an eight lane 25-meter swimming pool with one-meter diving boards, a wading pool, and five tennis courts (two clay and 3 hard surfaced).  Individual and group swimming lessons are offered by World Pool Management.  Tennis lessons and group clinics are offered by our tennis professional.

Members pay an initiation fee and annual dues for club membership.  Applications for membership may be obtained by contacting our club secretary, contact information may be found on the Contact Information page.  There is currently a waiting list for active memberships.

The Hamlet Green Feet compete in the Northern Virginia Swim League's swimming and diving leagues.   Both the swim and dive teams are composed of youths as young as 5 through 18 years of age.
